We have informed many students of the ACSS Certified Sanctions Specialists course (https://lnkd.in/dmhP6VjD) that the EU consolidated list is not always updated in line with the publications in the official journal of the EU. You will have to make sure that you have the right entries based on the publications in the official journal or make sure your data provider does this for you. The EU has a disclaimer in place on her consolidated list, stating:
"While every effort is made to ensure that the database and the consolidated list correctly reproduce all relevant data of the officially adopted texts published in the Official Journal of the European Union, neither the Commission nor the EU Credit Sector Federations accepts any liability for possible omissions of relevant data or mistakes, and nor for any use the database or of the consolidated list. Only the information published in the Official Journal of the EU is deemed authentic.". We, Dr. Pascal Ditté and Martijn Feldbrugge, have noted various situations during this year (and before) where the consolidated list was NOT in line with the publications in the official journal and updates to the consolidated list were made day, weeks and sometimes even months later.
So, be aware!
