Since the UN did not decide on a prolongation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (so there could be no veto by Russia) regarding Iran, the EU re-imposed her sanctions against Iran. The US already withdrew from the pact in 2018 and we expect the UK and other countries to publish similar re-imposing actions soon.
The EU has therefore amended:
- Council Decision (CFSP) 2010/413 of 26 July 2010 with:
Decisions 2025/1971, 2025/1972 and 2025/1978; and
- Council Regulation (EU) No 267/2012 of 23 March 2012 with:
Regulations 2025/1975, 2025/1980 and 2025/1982
Keep in mind that the current latest consolidated PDF of the respective Council Decision (CFSP) 2010/413 of 26 July 2010 is of 24 July 2024 and the Council Regulation (EU) No 267/2012 of 23 March 2012 is of 13 September 2024! We hope the EU will make new consolidated PDFs available soon, as the changes are a real puzzle.
